All About
Carboxytherapy

Carboxytherapy (Carbon Dioxide Therapy) is rapidly becoming known as the leading skin rejuvenation treatment. It is a clinically proven method to rejuvenate, restore, and recondition the skin.

Carboxytherapy involves injecting tiny amounts of Carbon dioxide (CO²) beneath the skin to break down fatty deposits and stimulate collagen production

Carboxytherapy is used to treat fine lines and wrinkles, dark circles under the eyes, loose skin (due to ageing or post pregnancy) cellulite, resistant fat, stretch marks, scars and hair loss. The body responds by providing a surge of oxygen and nutrients to the treated area that improves circulation, resulting in cell restoration.

This Increased oxygen concentration also improves the water retention or oedema in the area. For fat reduction, heated gas at high volume is introduced deep in to the fat which then breaks up the fat cells and stimulates new vessels and rejuvenation. For stretchmarks, this is the only treatment available for both old and new stretchmarks that visibly repairs the broken collagen and is safe for all skin types.

Carboxy therapy is a safe and minimally invasive treatment. The treatment has no downtime and a single session can take between fifteen minutes to an hour.

Carboxytherapy infuses CO² just beneath the skin’s surface. When the gas is introduced into the dermis, it breaks down the superficial fat causing the orange-peel effect (meaning the appearance of cellulite may first worsen and then improve) and stimulates dermal collagen levels.

This all leads to improved texture and appearance of the cellulite or orange peel appearance. Carboxytherapy causes the formation of new collagen and subsequently thickens the skin by rebuilding the collagen matrix.
