Waxing
Waxing is a form of semi-permanent hair removal which removes the hair from the root.
New hair will not grow back in the waxed area for four to six weeks, although some people will start to see regrowth in only a week due to some of their hair being on a different human hair growth cycle.
- Hair in the treatment area will become finer and less over time.
- The hair takes longer to grow back than when shaved. It will also become more sporadic and eventually, certain parts will never return.
- Waxing also helps with ingrown hairs and razor burn.
- Waxing is much cleaner compared to shaving and leaves no stubble.
- Best Results: Hair should have at least three to four weeks of growth
- Procedure Time: Depends on area
- Down Time: No downtime
- Do: Gently exfoliate using a loofah mit to release hair from the skin
- Don't: Do not apply lotion or cream directly before your appointment
