Manicures
As our hands are exposed to outside factors most of the time, the visible signs of ageing are more prevalent than in other areas of our body.
Manicure is a cosmetic beauty treatment for the fingernails and hands and consists of filing and shaping of the free edge, pushing in cuticles (with a cuticle pusher) and clipping any non-living tissue (limited to cuticle and hangnails), and includes treatments, massage of the hand, and the application of nail polish or gel polish.
Manicure treatments can be combined with treatments such as Microdermabrasion, skin peels or IPL Photo Rejuvenation treatments.
- Normal nail polish is included in our manicure treatment. The client can choose between a variety of different colours. This nail polish can be removed with nail polish remover.
- Gel polish is a nail polish that we bake under UV-light. A variety of colours available to choose from. This is slightly stronger than a normal nail polish and can last longer depending on how the client treats their hands. Gel polish cannot be removed with nail polish remover but needs to be soaked off with acetone.
- French paint is a very natural paint technique the therapist use. The free edge of the nail is painted white covered with a natural pink to give it that natural appearance.
- Procedure Time: 45 to 60min
- Down Time: No downtime
- Do: Do wear gloves when washing dishes or cleaning. Hot water and detergents can damage any manicure
- Don't: Don't Pick off your manicure. The gel/polish can take off layers of your actual nail with it
