During treatment, you may feel a sensation similar to a rubber band snapping against the skin, although most clients do not find the treatment painful. Coolite BOLT’s integrated cooling technology helps keep the skin comfortable throughout the session.
Immediately after treatment, the skin may feel warm or mildly sunburned. This is normal and usually settles within a few hours.
Treated hairs may continue to appear for 7-30 days after your treatment. This is not new hair growth, but the treated hairs being naturally expelled from the skin.
What do I need to do before/after my treatments?
- Antibiotics or Cortisone needs to be discontinued at least 2 weeks prior to treatments.
- No sun exposure, self-tan or solarium for four to six weeks prior to the commencement of treatment. Daily SPF is recommended.
- No waxing, plucking or bleaching for four weeks prior to your treatment.
- Shave the area to be treated a day before your treatment.
For best results, a course of treatments is recommended, as laser hair removal is most effective when hairs are treated during the active growth phase.
